Sandia cyber researchers linked together 300,000 virtual hand-held computing devices running the Android operating system so they can study large networks of smartphones and find ways to make them more reliable and secure. New IPOD’s by APPLE

Apple introduced not only the iPhone 5 last night but it also announced the new generation iPod Touch and iPod Nano. Here’s a quick look at the features of the new iPod devices.

IPOD NANO

First up is a completely redesigned iPod Nano. It features the same new lightning connector found on the iPhone 5 and is incredibly thin, at just 5.4mm. That is 38% thinner than previous models. It also features a 16:9 rectangular 2.5 inch screen, making it look like a miniature iPhone.

IPHONE 5 : Comparison with 4S

The World was eagerly waiting for the launch of IPHONE 5 but to everyone’s surprise it was not a huge breakthrough from the previous IPHONE 4S. In this article I will concentrate more on the improvements of IPHONE 5 over IPHONE 4S.

Samsung S II plus and S III Mini

There is a rumor going around the talks that Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini and Galaxy S2 Plus will be arriving to the masses before the end of the year. Just what kind of hardware will we be able to find in these devices? For starters, the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini is said to be a competitor to the iPhone 4S from Apple, sporting a 5-megapixel camera, dual-core processor and a 4” Super AMOLED screen with WVGA resolution.

IPAD MINI

Rumors of an iPad smaller than Apple’s current 9.7-inch model have long dogged the Cupertino company, but the talk is heating up this year — just as Google tries to go big with its Jelly Bean-based Nexus 7 from Asus.

The new model will have a screen that’s 7 inches to 8 inches diagonally, less than the current 9.7-inch version, said the people, who asked not to be identified because Apple hasn’t made its plans public. The product, which Apple may announce by October, won’t have the high-definition screen featured on the iPad that was released in March, one of the people said.

A smaller, less expensive iPad could undercut the ambitions of Google, Microsoft and Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) to gain traction in the advancing tablet market, said Shaw Wu, an analyst at Sterne Agee & Leach Inc. The new device will probably have a price closer to Google’s Nexus 7 tablet and Amazon’s Kindle Fire, both of which have 7-inch screens and cost $199.

So, We might expect a MINI IPAD soon in the market….

Analyst claims the iPad Mini could land in September, alongside the much-mooted iPhone 5.

Most of the people in the world use WINDOWS Operating System as it is more user friendly and most of the Third party Applications run on Windows, but coming to the Windows Media Player ( WMP ), we find it to be very shabby because it does not play many different File Formats….
