KeyLogger – A Threat

Keystroke logging (often called keylogging or “keyloggers”) is the action of tracking (or logging) the keys struck on a keyboard, typically in a covert manner so that the person using the keyboard is unaware that their actions are being monitored. There are numerous keylogging methods, ranging from hardware and software-based approaches to electromagnetic and acousticanalysis.

19 year old student invents a new propulsion system

An Egyptian physics student has successfully created a new propulsion device that could accelerate space probes and artificial satellites through quantum physics and chemical reactions instead of the current radioactive-based jets and ordinary rocket engines. Mustafa’s propelling device is based upon a scientific mix between quantum physics, space technology, chemical reactions and electrical sciences. Current space probes, artificial satellites, spacecrafts and space vehicles use rocket gas engines that depend on forcing a gas to the outside of the vehicle at a supersonic speed or the chemical reactions rockets which propel by solid or liquid fuels such as radionuclide or petroleum, or the electrically-propelled probes which depend on thrusting force via accelerating ions.

We have seen in the previous articles about Google Drive ( Which is an Online Storage option started by Google ), even Microsoft has come up with online storage concept – SkyDrive….

Amid the excitement over Google Drive, the search giant’s new Dropbox competitor, Microsoft recently improved a similar online sync and storage service, SkyDrive. LIQUID KEYBOARD

Touch-typing works well on a physical keyboard. One can feel the keys and their location and has based on this a clear understanding on where all other keys are located without looking at them. Virtual keyboards do not allow touch-typing as firstly placing 10 fingers on the screen would activate keys accidentally and secondly one cannot feel the keys. Hence does not know where other keys located without look at them. For making touch-typing work on touch screens and surfaces the input system has to adapt to the touch screen conditions.Researchers from University of Technology,Sydney have come  up with a new idea through which typing on touch screens becomes much easier. They call it ‘LIQUIDKEYBOARD’.

Know about Radar

We all are fans of cricket. We always talk about Bret lee’s tremendous fast bowling. But have you ever wondered how they calculated his bowling speed with in seconds of time?

Suppose we are travelling at a speed of 50kmph on a road where the speed limit is 45kmph. Though the speed variation between 45 and 50kmph cannot be found by human senses that much accurately, traffic police will still catch our tail. Have you ever wondered how he found out we are over speeding?

Answer to both the questions above is given by simple Continuous wave radar or simply a CW-radar.
