A good news to the Windows and Mac users…. you can have fun with android apps on Windows and IOS by using an application named ” BLUESTACKS” ….

Have you ever wanted to run the apps on your Android phone or tablet on your PC? Or would you like to use Android apps even if you don’t own an Android device? An innovative application, named BlueStacks, lets you do exactly this: With it, you can install and run Android apps on a Windows computer.

BlueStacks has been making steady progress with its Android virtualization technology over the past six months on Windows, but the company has now released an early beta version for Mac users. The Mac variant provides access to 17 Android apps for now, including Twitter, Facebook, and WhatsApp. BlueStacks says it plans to expand the offerings “even more” with the next release.

On the Windows side of things, BlueStacks released an Alpha version of its software in late 2011 with a limited number of apps, increasing this to thousands of Android apps in March with the debut of a beta version. We took the App Player for a spin on the Mac today, but it’s clear the software is in its early stages. Like the Windows Alpha version, there’s a limited amount of apps and basic functionality. However, the apps ran well on our MacBook Air and we didn’t experience any crashes or performance issues. The lack of apps is obviously an issue for now, but we hope to see the company bring the same level of apps to Mac as it has to Windows.

Final Words:

Overall Android apps run quite well on a PC, you probably would not want to use the majority of them on your PC as there designed for a touch screen mobile device, however as mobile exclusive games work pretty well on Bluestacks I could see people using it to play some Android games on their PC.

Angry Birds Space costs on the PC, however the Android version is free and plays perfectly in Bluestacks, a perfectly legal way to play it for free on your PC!

Ofcourse there are mobile exclusive games that work great with a keyboard too, such as Dizzy – Prince of the Yolkfolk

This is a classic game from the Amiga / other old computers that got a HD remake for mobile devices, I can tell you now it’s a lot more fun to play with a real keyboard rather than a touch screen.

If you don’t have a tablet with a keyboard dock then this is the best way to play it.
